This band!!! This album sure as hell rule! I picked out this song cause I love it, but im having a hard time deciding on wich song is my favorite, cause the whole album is so damn good! The band, an american progrock band formed in LA in 1971 featuring former members of Iron Butterfly, Deep Purple, Johnny Winter, and Rick Derringer. The song is taken from their first album entitled "Captain Beyond" (1972).

So tonight I've been listening to the radioshow Metal Inquisition on East Village Radio.com, with two friends of mine Tooth and Ryan.
December 4th they had none other than ROB HALFORD as a guest in the studio, and DAMN it was awesome! So while I was listening to this awesome show I got into my regular Judas Priest mood! They played one of my all-time favs "Victim Of Changes", the first track on the the album "Sad Wings Of Destiny" (1976). I just had to add it here!

UK goth rock band formed in 1986 by Wayne Hussey and bassist Craig Adams (both from Sisters Of Mercy). This AMAZING song is from their album "Children" (1988).





FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM:
A well-known UK goth rock band formed in 1984. This must be my favorite song for now, cause its really a more undiscovered band for me. But im checking more and more out! The song is from their album "Elizium" (1990)

Aphrodite's Child - The Four Horsemen

Amazing...simply beautiful! Aphrodite's Child is a greek progrock band formed in 1967, and this song is from their album "666" (1972).

Bedemon - Time Bomb

And now for some heavy stuff! Bedemon was, as many of you know a band presisting of Bobby Liebling and some other members of Pentagram. They never made it to the top though and remained unknown and unsigned up until not long ago. They made the demo "Invocation of Doom" (1986), and after 14 years they made a compilation album "Invocation to Doom: Child of Darkness II - 1971-1978" (2000).
They released their first and only full-length album in 2005, "Child of Darkness: From the Original Master Tapes".
The band is currently active, but with only three members left: Craig Junghandel, Mike Matthews, Geof O'Keefe (Pentagram).

This band! Hailing from San Francisco in the late 60's and the makers of one of my alltime favorite records, "Witchcraft Destroys Minds And Reaps Souls" (1969)! This song is definatly my fav on this album, eventhough there are many great tracks on it!

Swans - Celebrity Lifestyle

So ive been listening to so much different music lately, and this band has also been around for quite a while, but it got recommended to me not too long ago. It basically changed my life, and the record "The Great Annihilator" (1995) has been playing almost nonstop since. The best part is that they are going on tour and they are playing in Oslo may 6!!!! YES!!!!
This song is by far the best one from this album, and WELL WORTH a spot here on my blog! "Celebrity Lifestyle"

Lydia Laska - Could I Have A Go At Your Girl, Please?

So I kinda just discovered this band, eventhough they have been around for quite a while, and people have recommended it to me several times before. Well finally! I've been basically listening to their debut album "Krankenhaus" (2010) every day since I got it, and I gotta say its fucking sweet! My favorite tracks at the moment are "London" and "Krankenhaus", but the whole album is worth checking out! Now presenting their artsy fartsy video for the song "Could I Have A Go At Your Girl, Please?".

Dr.Shrinker - Tighten The Tourniquet

A pretty obscure band from the US that never got a proper record deal, wich is a fucking shame! They are amazing, and this song is from their compilation album "Grotesque Wedlock" (2004). ENJOY

Repugnant - Premature Burial

This band need no damn introduction, but they will get one anyway! This AWESOME band also spawning from Sweden are rulers of the whole fucking swedish DM-scene (my opinion). Presenting to you this song from their only full-length album "Epitome Of Darkness" (2006). YES!

P.S. I will most definatly post more songs from this band, cause they have some pretty great-sounding demos.
